Karanda

Welcome to my profile page on HubPages. Karanda is my pen name and was derived from an Aboriginal word meaning calm resting place. I have lived in five states and one of the territories of Australia and have travelled to many parts of this beautiful country. There is much on offer here from the tropical rainforests of Queensland to the rich colours of the outback and the vibrancy of the cities. I know there will always be something new to explore and share with the rest of the world.
